Orderville Canyon - Zion East Side

Did a combination of Birch Hollow and exiting down Orderville with a group of 9; made for a long day exiting Orderville. I didn't find Orderville very fun, but is was probably because we were hurrying too much.

Pine Creek - Zion Main Canyon

Started with Keyhole, then went to Pine Creek. Long day, but was very fun. Water was pretty low, but still cold. Took a group of 9 through canyon, after, I went back to keyhole to pick-up my harness that I left at the end of Keyhole.

Estimated date of visit. Mystery canyon is incredible. Love it, but the hike in is brutal on the knees and thighs.

Estimated date of first visit. Have done this canyon twice, once came out the top of Orderville, other time went all the way down Orderville and out the narrows. Probably go out Orderville if I do it again. Very fun canyon.

Left trailhead at 7 am; returned at 8:30 pm. The trip is long but worth it. The last climb out to the rim just about did me in. Neon is a lot of fun and the Golden Cathedral is amazing.

Fun little canyon on a hot day in arches. Water was lower than expected so one pothole took a little effort to escape.

Stopped by on the way home from hole-in-the rock (east side). Canyon has two fun but short slot section seperated by a long sandy slog. OK, but there are much better options.

Estimated date of first visit. Visited and camped many times at Goblin Valley. Great area. Best visit was during a huge rainstorm. Kids had a blast sliding around in the mud.
