If you are into, colorful, stinky, gurgling, mucky, pond scum soaked potholes, get out there while the getting is good!! We all agreed, the canyon needs a good flash to get back to the the splashing and swimming holes we got the first time around. Also, the first time I have ever seen actual cat tails along in the canyons. We were 8 hours, but moved a bit slow in canyon to do our best keep the ropes out of the water w/ 2 hours out. Also, the road closure would have made it a burner, but we had a storm just to our south keeping it cloudy. Fun day, but I can still smell the phantom funk, ha!
