Burr Slot has a very short slot section, followed by a lovely hike out. The slot section is very narrow, and requires some high stemming and a bit of climbing. It is not particularly difficult or risky, so a good candidate for canyoneers wanting a little experience in harder type canyons. The difficult slot section is only a few hundred feet, so the difficulties are short lived. The lengthy hike out will damper the experience a bit, but still a nice little canyon.
This is not a good place for beginners, but intermediates will enjoy the slot.
