Restore Android Purchases

Note: Purchases don't transfer between Google and Apple, only between devices of the same os. This process only works if your previous device was also a Google device. (https://www.roadtripryan.com/go/c/getting-started/frequently-asked-questions)

Purchases are tied to your Google acccount. You must be using the same Google account on the new device as you did on the old device.

So, you just got a fancy new Android device and want to get your original purchases from your Google account onto your new device. How does that work?

1. Open the app while you are either on WIFI, or have good cell service. Wait a few minutes. Google pushes purchase records to the device after app opens but it can take a few minutes.

2. Tap Add/Remove Area

3. Choose an area you have already purchased. Captiol Reef in the example below.

4. Since it was already purhcased, there will just be a download button. Tap that to download the already purchased area.

5. Once the download is complete, go back two screens to the home screen and the area will show up in the list.
