10/03/2025: Constrychnine: Kristin, Todd, Boone, Brian, Dwight Leave Jeep at trailhead: 09:55 10:33: at rap. Waiting on party in front of us. 13:12 exit canyon. 14:15 Todd at jeep (Took different path to jeep, more direct). 14:23 rest of group at jeep No water at all! Group of 8-10 in front of us at first rappel. We waited on them for about ten minutes, then they let us pass on their rope on 2nd rappel. That saved us the ten minutes we lost. 4:20 car to car for Todd 4:28 car to car whole group. Dwight’s 60m (?) rope was perfect length for first rap. 60m was plenty for all other raps, except the second rap, 181 ft. We rapped off a single long of the other party. (Thank you!) not sure if we would have (likely) needed the 60m and both of the 100ft canyon ropes as retrievers.

10/02/2025: Leprechaun East: Kristin, Todd, Brian, Boone, Keene. 11:18 start, 12:55 at drop in 17:28: back at van. 6:10 car to car (van to van)

4:00 car to car with Dwight, Nancy, Brian, Dean, Kristin, Todd, Boone, and Keene. Party of 8. Dean’s first canyon! One shallow pothole, most stayed dry. Dean celebrated staying dry just a moment too early and stripped into the far end. Got shoes wet. Second time in this canyon. Great beginner canyon.

Left/west fork: 4:20 car to car with Dwight, Brian, Kristin, Todd, Boone, and Keene. Second time in this canyon.

Better than expected. Kristin, Todd, Brian, Boone (10)), and Keene (5). 4.5 hours car to car. No water to speak of but some mud. Very interesting elevating for LAMAR, which was always Todd. The downclimb with the fixed piton was one of the easier ones. Piton is unnecessary. 1 early rappel. Then lots of down climbs. Then some narrow canyon. Brian was able to park at the central fork for a shorter hike out. Keene did great!

Blarney Canyon left fork 10/6/2022 Todd, Boone, Dwight, Brian. Leave TH: 10:26 Drop In Left Fork: 11:09 Back to car and TH: 14:30 Lots of water. Almost unavoidable. A few Hijinx to keep Boone dry.

Blue John Canyon 10/04/2022 Dwight, Nancy, Brian, Kristin, Boone, Leah, and Roxy to Little Blue: Leave TH: 08:22 Plan to meet at confluence at ~10:50 (2.5 hours) Todd & Keene hike down early exit to confluence. (Expect 1 hour but leave a bit early in case it doesn’t take them 2.5 hrs) Plan to Leave TH ~09:30 Leave TH: 09:40 Arrive at confluence: 10:30 Hike up LBJ w Keene on back: 10:39- Start ascent up Main Fork Blue John (Todd, Brian, Dwight, Boone, Roxy): 12:30 Dwight, Roxy, and Boone headed back at the really deep puddle (to Brian’s waist). Out of canyon: 16:00 TH with Rocky parked for us: 17:00 Camp with Rocky: 17:04 End
