Memorial day weekend was filled with canyons! Completed Wives 5, 2; Nighthawk and Cassidy Arch.
Nighthawk: Great canyon, potholes were mostly full of sand/dirt so no real escapes required. One or two required a partner assist to enter the pothole but not as difficult.
Completed in 5 hours with a group of 3. Second to last rap is the big one, great views!
Cassidy arch: great canyon, only canyon we saw people in all weekend. Love Capitol reef. Bolts are in at the at each rappel so no ghosting required.
Wife 5: Great canyon, good down climbs all the anchors were in great shape. 2 hours with approach
Wife 2: We were attempting to descend wife 3 but missed the drop and decided to complete 2. Only a couple rappels with a couple down climbs, great spot for quick canyons. Little over 1 hour for this canyon, nice and quick.
