WATER: Often quite a bit.
FLASHFLOOD: Moderate, but you can see the whole drainage and skies on the approach.
SEASON: Late spring through early fall
NOTES: The trailhead will likely require at least a high clearance vehicle in most conditions.

WATER: Generally little, but a couple of deep pools possible after heavy rain.

SEASON: Spring, Summer, Fall
NOTES: This is a very tight canyon! I am 180 lbs/6'2" with about a 40" chest and barely fit. If you are much bigger, you will NOT fit. There is a climb over, but this is not recommended except for advanced canyoneers. (R+/X-)


Kroger Via Ferrata - Colorado

RATING: Moderate
LENGTH: 2-4 hours
SEASON: Late Spring through Fall
NOTES: Beware of afternoon thunderstorms that frequent the mountains in the summer.


Englestead Canyon - Zion East Side

RATING: 4A (B if going down Orderville)
LENGTH: 8-10+ hours
RAPPELS: 4+ to 90 m ( 296 ft. )
WATER: Little in Englestead, much in lower Orderville
FLASHFLOOD: High
SEASON: Late Spring, Summer, Fall
NOTES: This canyon requires a permit regardless of how you exit. This canyon also requires a car shuttle.
