Hogwarts is my favorite of the "mini-slot" canyons in North Wash. The approach offers great views, the canyon is fun, and the second rappel deposits you in a room under a bridge, what could be better?
The canyon is usually dry, or with one small pool that can be stemmed over. The pool is rated a "semi-keeper" pothole, but most will have no problems stemming over it. Anchors are fairly straightforward, as are the rappels, making this a beginner friendly canyon. If doing it in the summer, start early to beat the heat.
