Lockjaw Canyon is a great beginner friendly canyon a stone's throw from Moab. One mandatory rappel, easy route finding, colorful canyon walls, and big views! What is not to love?! I would compare this to Cameltoe Canyon in difficulty, though would rank it a fair bit more scenic.
Why the name Lockjaw? Well, because it connects up with the Rusty Nail Jeep trail of course!
Note: The trailhead marked on the map was our starting point and required at least high clearance to reach. Those with heavy duty off road vehicles can drive further, but most will want to park and walk from the marked trailhead.
