iOS/iPadOS Restore Purchases
Note: Purchases don't transfer between Google and Apple, only between devices of the same OS.
This process only works if your previous device was also an Apple device. You can verify your purchase history via iTunes Support. (FAQ)
So, you just got a fancy new iOS device and want to get your original purchases from your iTunes account onto your new device. Here is how that works:
Step 1
Open the app and tap on Add/Remove Area.
Step 2
Click on Restore Purchases.
Wait a few minutes for Apple to sync your records. This usually takes a minute or two, but can take up to 10 minutes depending on Apple's services.
Pro Tip: Apple only allows an area to be purchased once per iTunes account. If it still says "Purchase" instead of "Install," wait a few more minutes and try again.
Step 3
Select your area and tap Install.
Once the sync is complete, the button for your owned areas will change from a price to "Install."
