Ticks

14 Total Ticks

Did the Middle Fork, took 5 hours total. 2 hour approach, 3 hours in canyon. Was definitely tight, would not take anyone over 170 lbs here. Next time we will only take one small rope, no harnesses. I got my hips stuck at the very end where the rock becomes super smooth, but was able to wiggle out. Brought a head lamp but would have been fine without it.

Did this with the Dussac's, Louise's second canyon and her first doing independent rappels! The approach was a little meandering, and the exit was even longer. Canyon itself was straightforward and fun. Anchors were all in good shape.

Louise's first canyon! Approach was really short and straightforward. The exit is also short and you can walk in the river on the way back to the car. I don't remember there being any tricky downclimbing, super beginner friendly.

The most technical canyon I've ever done. Sustained stemming/scooting. Technical downclimbs and pools of water. Annika did not die, but broke her ankle :(

Canyon

Super fun canyon! Easy approach, semi long but not hard exit. Used several dead man anchors so would take only skilled people.

Did Wives 3 & 5
