Amazing Hand Prints at Double Stack Ruin

Amazing Hand Prints at Double Stack Ruin

This is a close second in my mind to Monarch Cave. The ruins and setting are not quite as exquisite, but the fact that a sweat lodge is passed en route, and several good pictographs makes this a unique and memorable hike. One not to be missed while in the Comb Ridge area.

Like most of the Butler Wash ruins, it is a short hike (1-2 hours / 2-3 if you take a lot of photos). For photos, mid-day lighting seems best. This is a very family friendly hike, without much elevation over easy terrain.
