No Kidding has a bit of a reputation! It was originally (at least as far as I know), descended by Jason Pease in late fall/early winter. Jason, in a bold fashion, descended the canyon solo. The canyon turned out to be short but a gem. I met Jason shortly after when a group met up with him for the second descent to clean up a few bits of gear he had left during the first descent.

On the second descent, everyone in the group was impressed by the challenges the canyon offered, and the boldness and ingenuity Jason showed during his first descent to overcome the obstacles. Wow! Not a canyon to be taken lightly, and not a canyon I would feel comfortable venturing into solo! It has become a bit of a test piece for many groups anchor skills.

WARNING: Tricky anchors and keeper potholes make this an outing for experienced groups only! Sand trap use is likely required but bring any other anchor tricks you have! The keeper potholes have always been dry when I have visited and easy to get through with climbing or partner assist. Bring wetsuits in case they have water. At some water levels, packs tosses may be a good option.
