Named for an acoustical echo chamber near its end, Music canyon is a charmer. The route is fairly long, mostly being a hike, but the canyon itself is spectacular. The challenges offer a group many opportunities to practice partner assists and downclimbs. For beginners, the obstacles can be rappelled, though intermediate natural anchor skills are recommended. Though a short technical section, the canyon and exit make this a highly recommended trip.
Be sure to check the flow of Muddy Creek before starting this route. In early spring it can be quite high, making the exit hike difficult. If doing the route in the summer, get an early start to beat the heat and be in the narrows before the heat of the day. Also, bugs can be bad during certain times. Bug spray recommended.
