A Very Wet And Slidey Yankee Doodle April 2024 |

Took my family of 6 along with 2 friends down through Yankee Doodle as a warmup canyon before doing Birch Hollow the next day. We've done it before, but have had quite a bit of rain the night before as well as a few days previous--it was wet and different and fun! Most of the group members opted to wear chacos to keep their shoes dry for Birch the next day. I made a video which hopefully conveys how fun it was--the moss on the slickrock was slick since it had retained moisture.
