4/1 I did this with a friend, we went down the fence canyon side and back up the cross country The map route on here only shows one river crossing really, when going to Neon The recent waters have widened the river and is running pretty quick with an average depth of at our knee's There ended up being like 5 or 6 crossings i recommend bringing water shoes Cross country is the ticket route though it seemed easy to navigate, one river crossing and the ups and downs are more gradual in between the two elevation drops ...

Thanks for the feedback I added the top of the ravine and cleaned up the map a bit It seems I had a fair bit of GPS variability/errant points on my last trip in looking at the track I would not want to traverse the area and try to find the top of the ravine via headlamp on a new moon even with the point! You should have been within a very short distance of the ravine, maybe 75' if I did the math right from the nearest track point That can definitely be tough to find by headlamp though

#conditions BRING BUG SPRAY!
