Camped four nights along the canyon rim. Biked west rim trail and west side of the Goodwater Rim trail.
Camped with Matt and the dogs
last visited with the Alders. I was camped there with my son when the Olympic bombing occurred in Atlanta Ga.
Drove out here with Bev before Herm Hoops inauguration into the Boatmanâs Hall of Fame at the John Wesley Powell Museum. A beautiful overlook with interesting petroglyph and pictograph panels along the way. A gorgeous gorge. We had a windy lunch up on the edge looking down. A nice drive with a good friend to a beautiful place!
Camped one night at camp area opposite outhouses at rim.

I was born here! Well, not really, but this is gotta be one of my most favorite places in the whole world! I grew up in Castle Dale, Ut and this is only a few miles from my house. My love for the out-of-doors is largely due to this area of the world!
