Comment on Boars Tusk - Red Desert
Disagree that the Boars Tusk is closed to climbing Not sure why someone would take liberties with the JMHCAP ROD but the language pertaining to surface disturbing activities is with regard to minerals management, and, not recreationClimbing is allowed As per below: "Recreational activities, opportunities, and uses will be maintained"APPENDIX 3GREEN RIVER LAND USE PLANS OBJECTIVES AND ACTIONSAPPLICABLE TO THE JMH PROJECT AREA ON BLM-ADMINISTERED PUBLIC LANDSREC-14 Surface disturbing activities are prohibited with...
Comment on Peekaboo-Spooky-Brimstone Canyons - Hole In The Rock
tep - plan on at least a 60-90 minute drive from Bryce to Peek-A-Boo trail head I've done Peek A Boo + Spooky loop and Zebra in a day barely, but we were camped along hole in the rock road just minutes from the Peek A Boo trail head, so was able to hit the Peek A Boo TH very early
For an alternate full day itinerary & a less crowded set of canyons much closer to Bryce, you might want to look at Willis Creek and Bull Valley Gorge, capped off with a refreshing walk to Mossy Cave waterfall just off HWY 12 on the eas...
Comment on Petroglyph Canyon - Zion
The Zion rangers guard this location like it is the Crown Jewels of England We finally found them a couple years ago While we love all ruins and art it was kind of a let down after all the research and hunting to find the petroglyphs are OK, not phenomenal We wondered why this site was called Petroglyph Canyon thinking there must be better sites in Zion/ The hike is short and sweet and there is nothing further up that canyon except a dead end Don't get me wrong, If you are in the area it is an EZ must see The...

Comment on Red Man of Timpie Valley - Grantsville
Ryan Could you please consider making the directions to this cave more vague You are the only person to have posted the exact location online I believe the majority of people who use your site are awesome people who would never vandalize this rock art or deposit budlight cans/urine in the cave but it only takes one bad egg I think making it a bit of a puzzle to find the cave keeps people who won't respect the rock art and the site away I found this cave several years ago by piecing its approximate location togeth...

Comment on 100 Hands Panel - Highway 12

Comment on Mount Peale - San Juan County Highpoint
