Cheesebox, one of my first technical canyons, still holds a special place in my heart. The canyon is relatively easy, beginner friendly and offers either several challenging down climbs or short rappels. The scenery is second to none. Cheesebox Canyon is a canyon that every technical canyoneer should be sure is on their hit list. The west fork is the most commonly visited and is outstanding. The east fork, on the other hand, is a bit of an approach to get to, and not quite as spectacular as a canyon, but holds a great ruin and is well worth visiting in my opinion.
