Little Death Hollow Wolverine loop with Korina Just as beautiful as we remembered Found a great fence opening for the return trip from Wolverine to the TH, coordinates 37.78837° N, 111.18516° W
mitch trip
While not a technical canyoneering experience, the narrows are beautiful and the route back up Wolverine is punctuated by lots of amazing specimens of Petrified Wood. If you only want something technical then don't come here, but as a non-technical hike/run this is up there with Buckskin Gulch and Little Wildhorse in regards to non-technical slots.

Beautiful scenery. We took the south side of the loop, stopping at the petroglyphs and taking a quick glance at the arch. Ultimately took about 4 hours from the trail head to horse canyon the first day and then about 5 hours from Horse Canyon back to the trailhead via Wolverine Canyon the next day. Great hike. Lots of petrified wood. Very little water between the trailhead and horse canyon on either leg of the loop, but there is a small creek that runs past the cabin and down horse canyon toward the Escalante river that has a really great flavor to it(after filtering of course). Great hike. High Risk area for flash floods. Be sure to watch the weather forecast before venturing.
