This canyon is awesome and you should come back often! Hour and a half car to car solo. The gulley up is a bit of a trudge but the canyon is spectacular, every rappel is awesome with the second really standing out (rappel under an arch!) perfect Cartier family canyon, must do with dad! The one obstacle is a small slot into a semi keeper with another slot to exit but keeper is fun to get into and out of. I would use high right anchor to avoid keeper if I was with family. All anchors great and all had webbing (now you know what a solution pocket is!๐Ÿ™๐Ÿ˜‚) also found a jumar! Seriously have to come back to this one itโ€™s great! There is a perfect bath spot in the spring by the 50mph curve sign after the fourth rappel on the hike back

North fork was not fixed. Only two required fixed ropes (1 with climbers). The first rap could be climbed as a 20 ft slab problem (donโ€™t fall from top) but the second or third rappel ends in an over hang and would go at sandy V6 on the way up which needs a rope in my mind. North was fun, fairly open. Probably a good Cartier family slot (3 or 4 boulder scrambles that could be a little tough). Bring a couple lines to fix next time and do the north fork climb exit. No rappels over 13m you could do the north fork with blue tagline if you skip last two rappels. Petroglyphs panel next to out trail on right if you go down to river. South fork was more fun. Amazing downclimbs with a couple cool cork screws. One meh deadman that I used but carefully Definitely come back this place is great!

First solo canyon, was so sweet, down climbs are all very manageable, 1:45 rim to rim, wish it was longer!

Amazing rappels, watch out for water, doesnโ€™t get any sun in the winter, 4 dead man anchors rappels

Right fork was more technical down climbing, left was good (in the dark) Anchors solid but be prepared to build
