Comment on Alcatraz Canyon - Robbers Roost

#conditions 10/15/24, party of 2 First time to the Roost Road in was super easy, just a couple short sections of sand in the last couple miles, fine if you keep moving CTC about 4 hours at a fairly leisurely pace, 2 hours for the technical section, just over 2 hours for the exit with a couple wrong turns and some wandering around Pothole rap required a boost to get out of A drop lower down where there used to be a bolt had a handline, would be a really difficult downclimb without it A lot of ‘kinda narrow’ but noth...

Comment on Shenanigans - Middle West Butler

#conditions 11/4/2025 - One unavoidable puddle shin deep and super muddy in the middle before the Grim Crawl We bailed just before Grim Crawl due to time constraints and not eager for it to get even tighter This canyon is TIME CONSUMING! Bring a very small bag and ideally a super short rope way shorter than 60m Road is super good though, a 2WD sedan would be fine

Comment on The Chute of Muddy Creek - Southern Swell

FloatersIt is difficult to determine the river level in the Chute You need to use the USGS website to see current conditions, but be advised that the gauge on the Muddy Creek is above several irrigation canals The most accurate reading can be found by viewing the Dirty Devil River gage near Hanksville, but this is a reading of both the Muddy and the Fremont rivers So if you get the Dirty Devil reading and subtract the Fremont from itvuala, you've got a pretty accurate idea of the Chute enjoy!http://utwaterusgsgov...

Comment on Yellow Cat - Posion Strip Mine Ruins

Pretty cool area - wouldn't have known about it if not for this website! The old bus is mostly gone, just the front of it is left Keep going east on the road and you'll eventually get to Cisco, a pretty cool more modern ghost town

Comment on Willis Creek - Bryce Area

Hi Ryan Great website : On your directions you say, "Head south out of Cannonville toward Kodachrome basin on the Kodachrome Basin road for 47 miles to the Skutumpah Road" I just wanted to let you know that I clocked this closer to 27 rather than 47 miles

That was an interesting read, and it makes complete sense now why none of the beta had info on those bolts; we went on my birthday which was the day after they installed them Thank you for sharing! I find your website to be the most helpful!
