Angel Slot is a canyon that surprised me. Given its short length, I wasn't expecting a lot but was pleasantly surprised.

The narrow section is deep, dark, and a lot of fun, while the exit hike offers some of the best views of Robbers Roost area of any around. Coupled with the fact it only takes a couple of hours makes this a good beginner canyon, or one to do in the winter. After very heavy rains, we were pleasantly surprised to find the canyon with only a few small pools that were easy to avoid.
