First canyon outside of clads with Evan and Lucas! Reheheheheh
gorgeous, did with Booy. really fun and easy approach and exit time. took us roughly 3 hours at a leisurely pace
Beautiful canyon. The first rap was very awkward if not using the courtesy anchor. Did not find the bonus rappel, but views from the overlook are great.

Cool shorter slot, lots of great down climbing. Good beginner canyon. Nice repels and hike out, not too bad. With Lex, Mikey, and Brenden - 2hr 19min

Did this canyon again with 4 experienced people and 3 new people. Great canyon experience for everyone. Did the rappels for the first two rappels and then downclimbed everything until the bonus river rappels. Right afterwards we drove over to Angel Cove Slot and did both forks (down south, up north).
With our family and poppy and Jude Fun but not our favorite There was a section of dirt road with about 12” deep of fine sand or chalk

really cool rappels and spot section. probably did 5-6 rappels. first rap has a terrible start.
Did this canyon again on 1-4-25 with a group of 5. Dirt road to get there is in great condition. The canyon was completely dry, but had a tiny bit of snow falling for a few minutes during the second rappel. 1st rappel is always an interesting start with that overhang, don't forget to use a carabiner to shorten the webbing for all but the last person. Had a ton of fun downclimbing the rest of the canyon after doing the first 2 rappels. The lighting was really awesome at the end of the deeper dark crack area. The webbing on the first 2 rappels looked good and pretty new(ish). I feel like this canyon is underrated--we loved it (again). We ended up having enough time to do something else, so we headed over to Goblin Valley to rappel the Goblins Lair. Awesome way to kick off the new
Ran solo, rapping the down climbs The climb out kicked my ass
Beautiful and Fun short canyon - long, hot exit up slickrock. 3 hours 14 mins including leisurly lunch at the overlook (but didn't do the bonus rappel).
1st rap start tricky (could bypass?). some nice deep sections

100' + fiddle, edge on first is tricky, 2nd looks similar, but has a good ledge, next "rap" where there was an anchor can easily be downclimbed, 3rd rap maybe downclimbed but would be a bit sketchy butt-slide at the end. It is fiddle friendly, so best to just rap. No shade at all on exit hike. Went with Steve.
Did this canyon in a group of 4 and had a blast. We didn't end up doing that last rappel that takes you down to the river, but I think I need to at some point. We were low on time and still wanted to drop into the goblin's lair.
Could have been 2022
Great canyon. First Rap has a hard/awkward start. Beautiful in the sun. Not skinny but tight enough for lots of adventure. Exit isn't hard. Uphill with some navigation
Downclimbed around the first rap. Saved us at least 15 minutes.

Soon...
First canyoneering trip with Troy, Claire, Rai, Mitch, Kirby, and Katie.
Great canyon. Group of 16. Took 5-6 hr. Hot hiking back out. Did not see an anchor at lookout at bottom. 10 mi out on dirt road which was in good shape.

4 stars 3 1/2 hours with Levity
Excellent. Way more action than I expected and quite dark.
Andrew, Brad, and I did Angel Slot, took about 3 hrs, going pretty leisurely and teaching anchor stuff, plus walking out to the Beaver Canyon overlook. Fiddled the first two drops, and did rap the third one as well (Ryan said optional downclimb, but the end of that might have been tough?). No water. Fun!
Sunday morning with Maddie & Sam. 3.5 hrs including the overlook
Completely dry. Fun canyon.
Went down Angels Advocate then joined with Angel Slot
Fun canyon, the south fork known as Angel's Advocate is the more exciting option. It adds a handful of larger rappels and joins up just before the deepest/narrowest section of Angel Slot.
Nice Canyon, Kat got a little nervous on first rappel. Good Narrows.
Solo. Great!! Road was pretty washed out. Some small pools
solo
Did it with Miro
loved it!
Nice canyon. Dry. Easy to find. Less easy, but not hard, to find our way back to the trucks. Trust the trail cairns when you find them. Beautiful views at the end. Cool that you double back onto the canyon to see the first two rappels.
Jacob and Ben. Excellent short slot! Big rappels, short squeeze rappel. Hard down climbs can be assisted or anchored no dangers stemming. Dark narrows, beautiful mini subway. Slick rock exit. Barren in sun. Two or three pockets of water. Skilled can stay dry Has two more raps than Ryan says. Shelf on first rap. Ben flipped.
This is an amazing short canyon. The dark deep slot is very exciting... Especially solo!

Double slot double date with Katie and Sam
Great little canyon. Took 3 hrs 25 min for 3 of us to go through, car to car, casually. This has it all - great place to practice skills from beginner to expert.
Sick canyon https://youtu.be/5Cn-s0Zf4Ac WOW
In good condition. Liked this better than lost angel.
For the motivated, running this canyon after the Angel Cove forks makes for a long rewarding day
Awesome canyon! Nice and steep, deep and dark and the view at the end was awesome. The return hike is equally steep. All of the raps were fixed already. Watch out for that first rap though, very awkward.
Great slot. Needed some anchor building for 3rd rapp. Would like to do this one again.
all anchors were removed. bailed. a$$0s
