Went up on a snowy day and had the place to myself. Amazing to find corn cobs still intact.

Fishmouth was huge and you could tell the building material had either been taken for somewhere else, or there was an earthquake that destroyed a lot of it - or — Split Level Ruin should be done in conjunction with this and it has some great juju.

a couple close ruins and a vigorous climb into the mouth of the fish

Had it to myself - along with a bawling cow in the wash. I named it Abbey.

I'll get the hang of this yet. Last week in september. We didn't go up to the cave because so many said there was nothing there. But just short of the cave up some steep slickrock there is a small alcove with some really nice moki steps and great petroglyphs on the floor. I didn't even notice them for a while because I was sitting down taking in the view

Hiking is fairly easy and straightforward; ruins are in poor shape but the rock art was good (except for the usual graffiti) We had to cut our visit short due to the noisy arrival of a Boy Scout Troup.
