East Fork: GREAT canyon. Long narrows...very narrow. Minimal stemming. Very doable for me. Had a blast. Long exit.
SE Water: A lot of work for a little bit of fun. Great canyon but probably not worth doing again.
Dry good anchors. The optional technical section had a decent double anchor that we backed up with meat. SK, AD and AH
Ethan and Nell. We used the sand trap. Beautiful canyon with a stunning dark chamber near the end.
Pretty, but muddy! I think it would be a lot better without the mud. Missed the note about extending the rap from the bolts which led to a somewhat high partner capture for the next drop.
Approach is a bit tricky to follow and find an efficient way to get to the drop in point. Hiking out was not a fun affair due to route finding difficulties that damaged the local vegetation. Overall the canyon was fun and very tight in places.
Last rappel is 90 ft.
