Ran Birch with Hailey today. It was just us, we cruised through the canyon, though we did spend some time talking about anchors and rigging at a few of the rappels. The canyon itself couldn’t have been any better. Bone dry, perfect temperature, and we both loved it. We started at 3:15PM and brought a 61 m rope. Despite the beta saying we would have to extend it on the longer rap, we did not. If made it down just perfectly. Used one of Bob’s ropes. Took the wild wind exit which ended up being way more difficult than we thought and incredibly steep. We got lost for a little section, but managed to make it back on the trail and back to the car in about five hours car to car.

Crazy high flow in the spring, almost got me into some trouble.
