DK, LZ, AD, Dan Built a sandtrap at standard route - no juniper. Muddy potholes.
East Fork right after West Fork muddy potholes
West fork advanced with PO, Sam and Josh. Used Sandthrax.
Descended into the west fork. Just after the rap, we encountered a pot hole full of water and mud. Decided to ascend back out and come back with pothole gear.
Did this with Diana, first rap off small little thread. exact date could be off
East Fork. Group: Juan, Max, Naomi, Bri, Collin, and Nicolas. Nicolas led us through this section. Fun and short! Was very short but had potential to be more difficult if it had water in the keeper potholes. We didn't deal with any but did some good jumps into the potholes. We didn't do a rappel on this one. Whizzed through it but was fun and more technical. Not hard but a blast. Need high clearance to get to trailhead.
Did with the whole family. Lots of fun!
This canyon has it all: rappels, down climbing, great scenic slot sections. We did the West Fork and Ryanâs advanced route and had a blast. We rappelled the second pothole. The potholes would be more challenging if full of water...the canyon was completely dry on our outing. This was one of the more technical canyons we did in the big springs area. It was similar to some of the other tighter canyons in other parts of the roost. I really enjoyed the sinuous canyon walls and the arches down in the slot. This was equally as pretty and interesting has high Spur. Total time was 2.5 hrs.

East Fork
Really fun canyons. Went right after big rain storm so we hat water most of the way through. Fairly technical. Glad Brandon took the last spot and slid down the one long one into the pool. But he said it was fun and would do it again.
East Fork, sweet!
West fork, good but wet
