103 when we left car at 4pm (Utah time). limestone was slippery. good way to break up trip from lv to Zion.
Took my nephews, Wyatt and Justis, out along with my dad. First canyon since 2023. Felt nice to get back out there. Practiced using a CEM on the last rappel.
Hiked with Kelli, Luci, Kate, Saylor & Duke. The kids did well. Was enjoyable and not to strenuous.

Went out for a repeat bringing along Nate, Allie, Booker, Dad, and me. Booker was a little spooked, especially for the 80 footer, but he handled it like a champ. He did great! Really fun to have him out for the first time.
Woke up and did it early to beat the heat. Just me and dad. Took us about 1:35. Could have done it faster but we spend some time screwing around with knots and trying stuff. Our first time doing a big committing rappel on the fiddlestick on rap 3. Then rap 4 seemed low-stakes enough to try out the CEM we'd been practicing at home. Fun little canyon. Planning to take the fam out there next time as I think it would be a perfect outing for younger kids.
Hiked with Kelli, Nate Peterson, Cam Christianson & wife, and Ben Butterfield & wife. Kelli thought the kids would like this one because it's relatively easy and it's short.

Thanksgiving trip with Dana, Mararara, Bamber, Cat, & Connor. Weird but cool rock! come back and do cherry, plenty of primitive camping nearby
Night canyon!
Park at the trailhead and walk up the road until it crosses a little wash. This is the entry point. Hot. Very hot. Short canyon experience. Matt and I had fun.

Went with Meg after Havasu, quick, easy, worth stopping for but definitely not worth a special trip.

perfect beginner canyon. rappels increase in difficulty but are all safe and easy. great opportunity to teach my wife how to rappel and get into canyons.
