Drove up the Dugway after the Ring of Fire Eclipse in Valley of the Gods. Definitely a spot for a future camping trip.

Finally got back to and able to camp at one of my first great “finds” in the Southwest back in the 90’s. Pretty cool camping right on the rim for 4 days waiting for the Annular Eclipse. Hiked the “rim loop” on the last day.

Interesting ruin with the upper “mother-in-law suite”!

Short jaunt to one of the most vivid and distinct panels we’ve seen. Small but special.

Large fantastic panel with great river views and a beautiful and interesting hike out and back with one of the more eerie and serene ruins we’ve explored. We had the whole canyon to ourselves. (3.4/540)

Nice panel, obviously with easy access.

Great loop with a perfect mix of geology, beauty, and culture.

Back for an over-nighter in the park and then a Full Moon Halloween Goblin Shroom! Last night at Temple Mountain West CG.

Fun little jaunt up the box canyon to a fairly unique horizontal window arch. The “modern” art in the alcove is pretty obviously fake but there is an authentic one up a bit on the left side of the canyon. Will have to back to the larger panel on the other side of the ridge that we were not aware of.

Over-nighted on the canyon rim campground which has splendid views albeit with significant exposure. A sandy path at the bottom of the canyon leads to a few very good panels before reaching the world-class show stopper. Saw feral burros further down the canyon.

One of the most amazing spots in UT (yes! that’s saying a lot). Stayed three nights in the campground and hiked Entrada Canyon and Curtis Bench Trails.

Beautiful 4WD trail into a dramatic canyon with nice panels.

Fun scavenger hunt for all the panels in a striking location.

Fun excursion to super-cool panels as well as a ghost town and graveyard.
