I took Seth and his friend Parker. No one there. No flowing water in the canyon. One anchor webbing looked just about cooked. Could use a replacement. I should bring extra webbing with me. Took the 3 of us 1 hr 44 minutes.

First Canyoneering Trip
Ran this on 2/22/25 with a group of 4 of us. All webbing and anchors were in good condition, but the one single bolt is a bit loose and spins on the last rappel (short exit) so we opted to use the two bolts above it (requires a little climbing). The canyon had a little water in it from previous days' rain which was a nice change from the last time we did it (in 100+ degree weather). We had fun downclimbing the crack instead of rappelling it.
Some water, all avoidable.

Took a group of 8 through after doing Yankee Doodle earlier in the morning. There was no water, all anchors seemed to be in good shape--but the single bolt spins on the last rappel short exit. We opted to use the two higher bolts above for the rappel (be careful climbing to the 2 bolts above--the sand/moss made it a bit slick). Temps in the 100's, but had fun anyways. We used it as a warmup for the boys to practice rappelling before hitting PineCreek on 6/12/24
cant remember the date
Took Bryce Perkins - first time for him. We were fast on this one. 1 hr 29 min. Half an hour faster than previous sends.
Since we didn't get to do Yankee Doodle the day before, we came back out to do it and figured we might as well do Boltergeist again. With just Dad, Nate, and me, we managed to knock it out in a little over an hour. Not bad! Was just as fun the 2nd time.
Came out with Dad, Nate, Kylie, and Booker. We had the intent to do both Boltergeist and Yankee Doodle, but Booker was pretty slow ð, so we ended up only having time for Boltergeist that late in the afternoon. Super fun beginner canyon--way more fun than the description led us to believe. Booker had an absolute meltdown at the top of each rappel but was back to his jovial, braggadocios self by the time he got 1/3 the way down each of them. Overall, was still super fun having him along even if he did freak out too much. This was Kylie's first canyon, and she liked it a lot. Skipping the last rappel made for a quick and easy exit even with Booker. Glad we did this one instead of going for Yankee. Yankee would have been much tougher with Booker.

Fun with Kate, Justin and Ryan. Total time 2 hrs 2 min. This canyon has some interesting lips but always a good time.
Took Bekah and Anne - kinda first canyoneering for them but they did great. Total time 2 hrs 21 min.
Did the long route and got a bit lost, my group tried to scramble up from water canyon too early. Would recommend staying low in water canyon until you start seeing a trail marked by cairns, hike out along that felt easy enough!
Kylie, Kate, Rob after work
Went well. No water no problem. Make sure to stay on the left of the wall when you do the longer route.
Hiked this canyon with Kelli, Nate Peterson, and Preston Homer.
great canyon. we were all alone

Did with Yankee Doodle on same day with Kurtis.
Ok canyon has some awkward repels. Would rather do Yankee Doodle

Last rap makes it worth it
Completed with Amber Stratton
All raps are now bolted or tied off trees/rocks. Great canyon to do along with Yankee Doodle.
Tried to take group theoufh, made it down 2 raps before white out snow conditions made us decide to hike out up rock fall. CO-guided
Itâs not great. Dry and the raps donât justify the hike out imo.
First 200â rappel. Second canyon
Went through with small group, learned Jester set up with Totem.
With Brad
Nice canyon with rapid rappels. Nice exit hike.
All water you could get around. We did it when it was partially snowing without wetsuits. Short & sweet. Last rappel is the best part of this canyon, plus there is no approach if you have 4WD.

Trip with Sam
First technical canyon with the kids. Group of 8, 6 beginners took a long time to get down, abt 5 hrs for the full descent. The last 100' rap was the most fun for the kids. This canyon was a great canyon to teach beginners some technical canyoneering skills as it has several places that use various skills, but no areas are too demanding or difficult.
Trip With Nate and Dad
Enjoyed a day taking scouts through Bolterguist and Yankee Doodle.
