Travel Wholehearted western adventures

Ran with Caylin in just under 5 hours. Waited for one large group at the rap for 30 min.

Canyon was dry. All anchors in good condition. Very easy canyon, 2 raps, mostly walking. Would have been better with a shuttle. Very family friendly and beautiful. No stemming really.

Group: Naomi, Juan, Bri, Collin, and Max. Met Nicolas taking pictures and invited him to do the rappel. Very meh for most of the canyon. Not difficult. Very far to get there but great beginner canyon. Was windy af. Last section before the downclimbs was actually quite beautiful. One of the more beautiful areas we've done as far as windy slots. Down claimed after the first rappel. Set up a hand rope for the second down climb. I set up the rope for the rappel. Was a fun overhang. 2 hour walk back to the car. Would have been nice to have another car.

Ethan, Nell, Molo. Stunning canyon. Beautiful sculpted narrows

Absolutely stunning canyon. The road walk back is quite long though, and do not underestimate the drive. 4wd high clearance highly recommended, and it will take a while!!

With WSS. Long day. Watch route On exit

What a great canyon! It was incredibly scenic. Reminded me of Antelope canyon. Lots of narrow sections but not squeezy. There were a handful of sections where the canyon opened up scattered amongst the tight sections. We found the canyon to be completely dry. This canyon had a lot of character and was always beautiful. A true top tier canyon. The only rappel was a cool free hanger into a giant amphitheater. Finding the exit was easy and we even found the space cow petroglyph on the quick hike back to the car. Total time was 4.5 hours using a car shuttle.

Incredibly beautiful - to corkscrew section and back took about five hours. Early climb near first beautiful section makes for a quick exit

Our group of 2 really enjoyed this canyon. March 2019 The water was for the most part avoidable, very beautiful. The roads out were in wonderful dry condition.

Such a charmer! The middle pothole was indeed cold! Took me a minute to escape that one. The slots after the potholes were the best. Final rap out was classy af.

Beautiful Thanksgiving Trip We did this trip on Thanksgiving with 10 people. The Rangers at Hans Flat Ranger station were very helpful and nice to talk to. Up to Hans Flat Ranger Station it is an easy drive when the roads are dry. Starting from there a high clearance vehicle and 4 wheel drive were for sure needed. The Canyon contained one hip-deep pool that contained cold water (i would say between 30°F and 40°F). After that it got muddy, but fun! Just be aware that you can get wet and cold. We decided to pack extra dry clothes and help each other out with lifting packs over the pool to keep them dry. Webbing and rope is always good to carry with you. A beautiful rappell at the end! Such a wonderful canyon
