No water, only a few muddy sections. Took us just over 2 hrs with a 10 year old.

Muddy at the bottom of half the drops.
First time through
1hr 2min car to car for two moving quickly and with good climbing ability. Deeper and more beautiful than I was expecting! Worth hitting for sure for all abilities.
Fun short outing. Possible to downclimb all but short roping and assists also work.
Quick and easy canyon, super fun! Good for Sunday or evenings

Arrived at Egypt 1 and was surprised by the aproxmately extra 13 ft of first rappel. we had a 65 ft rope that was about 10 ft off the ground when we double stranded it. so we singled stranded the first rap using to lengths of webbing as a pull cord. First rap is about 40 ft. canyon was dry besides last slide into an ankle deep mud pool. exsisting anchors in canyon were bombers. Fun spot perfect day.

Took 2 hours to complete. Bring 40ft webbing & rope for raps up to 30-40 feet. I would not recommend down climbing anything in this canyon.
We didn't use any ropes, the last drop is the most difficult to jump into, but isn't too bad. hand line would be nice to have for most groups.

SEMI EXPERIENCED CANYONEERS. Down climbed the whole thing this time!! Erik, Steve, Jule, and myself. Gotten some more confidence with the "controlled slides," although the third downclimb was pretty hard impact on the opposite wall. Flew through in a couple hours, really enjoyable overall.
Fuck those down climbs! Rappeled everything because it was wet and muddy and sketchy even when dry. A man who hath pride stands to be wounded. Did this one with Sidney in the morning, just the two of us. Our first canyon!! Practiced passing a knot on rappel at the drop in. Really pretty slickrock exit with large boulders strewn around that had dropped from the rim.
