Super fun, ran in about three hours with mom
First solo canyon, was so sweet, down climbs are all very manageable, 1:45 rim to rim, wish it was longer!
Just did a run of the canyon (1-17-2026) with a group of 9 people. Webbing still looked good at the top of the rappel. We ended up using a 200 ft rope and rappelled all 3 stages with the one rope and left it. We came back around and picked up the rope on the way back. There was a larger loose rock at the start of the second stage that looked like it was ready to fall below, so we picked it up and moved it back away from the edge. Canyon still had a little water in a few places (avoidable by stemming over). Fun canyon, and the arch on the hike out is a great place to take a group photo.
First half of double day with Constrychnine. Wasn't overly impressed - left fixed line for the beginning three stage rappel, after there was some small downclimbing and a lot of mud. Took overland shortcut that more the halved the exit. 2ish hours. Max, Montgomery and me.
With Kai, second favorite of the 3. Cool section at the end. probably total time about 3 hours. Exit felt long
With Dwayne
Hiked to arch ✅
DK, Brer, Amy, Eli No webbing left. Used DK rope and so did group after us. Rappel is sooo good, the rest of the canyon is enjoyable as well for variety
Did Arscenic, Constrychnine, and Slideanide in one decently long day.
LOTS of water. Many waist deep to chest deep and some swimmers. Very cool
Alex and I. Quick canyon before going home
With Morley
Lyle, linked with others in area
Don’t have a specific date but we did this in 2024
solo
Bonnie, Mike, Tiff L., Tyler
first solo!
Happy Birthday Kelly Man! Incredible canyon. Highlight was the corkscrew slide :)
Liam Phil and jack. Good time . Quick and simple. My knee hurts. Meat at the car and 1 cold beer is essential. Pearl and Lil Jack need to hook up.
Really fun mellow canyon. Did the rapp in 3 stages and left the rope fixed at the anchor to travel light. Plenty of mellow little downclimbs and stems. Did this with Erik, Jack, and Liam while staying in the Whispering Sands hotel in Hanksville to avoid the cold. Did an extra credit early exit at the bottom up some slab to shortcut some wash tromping. The boys did good! Even Erik with his ailing IT band.
Same trip but wanted to say that the road in is mellow and there's good camping at the trailhead.
Left the rope at the rap and grabbed it on the way back.
Wayne, Jacob and Kyra joined us. Camp was at the trail head.
Tyler Sam Devin Scott ? ?
Fun, 3 stage initial rappel, however the rest of the canyon is pretty unmemorable. Hike in is quick, as is hike out. The arch is neat.
Went with Rob Huot, Dan Skierkiewicz, Sara Yeo, and Kelly Winn
2hrs 15min, solo, waist deep water
Dry
Easy n short. Arch was cute
Great downclimbs and nice shorty. Good combo with slidenine and constricnine.
Used a single rope and returned for the rope. Fun beginning. Nice intro to the Fall season. Rattlesnake at the bottom of the rappel in the rocks to your righr.
Awesome first rappel

All dry. First rappel is done with 3 stages on 60m rope, Possible with shorter rope and anchors at each stage. If single rope, leave at top and get later due to long pull. No more mandatory rappels below. Good times!
Great canyon, had one wader (waist deep) that some in our group were able to span across, some not though
Taylor and Erin first canyon in a long long time
Nice first rappel, easy exit hike - enjoyed more than Slidenide. Very hot exit hike, no water whatsoever. Don't bother with the canyon during Summer or hotter months
A classic. With Jake, Sue & Carrie
Completed Solo
Second run 10/17/24
with Scott
Nice Canyone with Mike, Ryan and Clay
With Jerome for MCC; W. Bent, 7ppl
Michael ensign, his dad, and chase Fowers. 3rd poison canyon of that day. Cruised through all of them. Felt great!
Girls only
AWESOME, EASY ROUTE TO FIND, HIKE IN AND OUT NOT BAD AT ALL. REALLY PRETTY
Really fun narrows with a few downclimbs after the one big rappel. No water in the canyon. Took about 4 hours in a group of 3.
w/John and Owen
lots of challenges for the fam'
Great canyon with some raps. Can stem over most water hazards. Did with Caitlin and Tim over spring break 2024.
Did with Bence
