Canyoneer UTurn arches
u-turn took about two hours. Could do with 100 foot and a fiddle stick. three bolted anchors and one webbing off of a big boulder. Road trip Ryan’s beta works for that one. When exiting don’t go up to sandhill and into the canyon, go to the right and stay on that level and it goes all the way over back to the parking lot. for U-turn, everything was kid friendly until the last one which had some free hanging parts.
Sub Land Sharks (Tracy, April, Ellie, Tom, Judy, Carla and I) - perfect canyon weather. Just under 3 hrs for group of 7. Excellent first run for Carla! R1 note: ended up doing a toggle for last 2 down due to too short rope (it's not 14', more like 30-40 with slab leading to the short 14' drop).
Eli, Mac, Torrey. Hand lowered the 3 first drops. Rope burned hands on the second. Very quick descent. 2nd of 3 for the day.
In Arches along with tierdrop and not tierdrop. Similar to the others, slide down a bowl in to the first rappel. Easy and short
First canyon with Isabella!
Nice little short canyon. Views of Park Avenue are incredible
Group of 2 ran it for the first time on 11/1 in 2 hrs 15 mins. Ran it again on 11/5 in 1 hr 35 mins car to car. R1: used a 30m rope lots of slack. Anchor off the big on the right LDC is solid. There is a significant crack that the rope ends up falling into that causes a drag when pulling the rope. Avoid by pulling to either side if possible. R2: 30m rope again, plenty of slack. Lots of rope grooves to be aware of on the pull, but nothing to be super concerned about. Solid anchor off a big rock. R3: 60m rope used - 30m is not sufficient (about 10-15ft short). Solid anchor (maybe bolted? Can’t remember) off a waco on the left side LDC. R4: 60m rope, solid anchor off a boulder on the left LDC. Be careful of your walk over to avoid stepping on crypto. Easy hike out, as others have said, stick to the wall/shelf to the right instead of going into the wash.
3rd class scramble to the top of the mesa, incredible views at the top. Would be tough on a hot summer day. Rappels were straightforward. * all bolts except one natural hueco anchor. * First two raps use 100’. * Last two raps use 200’
Nice little chill canyon. Did this on the big Moab trip organized by Hayley Boushka. Big group of 8: Myself, Hayley, Lauren, Jordan, Kyle, Logan, Chris, and Riley. Logan is a super experienced climber, so his support helped a lot while I was leading. Few people's first or second time rappelling, so lots of care taken.
First canyon in Moab. Fun!
All of the rappels are sketchy down-climbs, so they are not fun rappels, nor are they comfortable enough to down-climb. The highlight was the walkout. Wouldn’t recommend again. 2 hours
With the Shahs, cool one!
our first canyoneering experience in moab and arches. It was fun. not quite like the Zion/ St. George area but still beautiful and a great time.
With WOLI, unable to finish due to near accident on third rappel

One of the most picturesque canyons we have ever done! More than worth it for the views alone.
Good beginner route with no water
Book has more updated beta. Repeat
First canyon with Dad, Nate, and Allie. Great one for a first go.
With Kate and Matt! His first canyon.
Gricelda and I
First second-trip in a canyon! :P After work weekday rush-job. Beautiful views of the snow-dusted La Sals. Unfortunately ran out of light by the final epic rappel around 7 PM. All anchors are in good shape.
Dawn lap with Carsten. 1hr C2C
Returning from Robbers Roost, made a stop with Montgomery. Met Eric, Brooke, and Bryan
April, Ellie, Bela
With Rachel, car to car 3h 15m at a very casual and leisurely pace

my favorite so far
Did this with Kaden. Used bolts on the first two small drops then fiddled a tree down to the second to last bench. Due to snow/ice, we fiddled a rock immediately below the previous drop, but stuck the rope. I had to climb up the slab with ice (scary) to retrieve the rope then traverse over the the normal slab rappel. There are more short rappels if using a shorter rope. The last rappel was only about 60 ft from the smaller boulder on the left of the large boulder above the final corner drop. Even with mishaps and snow, we did it in 2.5 hours.
Did this route with Sontian using 70m dynamic rope.
Fun little canyon. Steep climb up but short and easy to find. Long rappel to finish the route.
Took the Kerrybrook younger YM through this canyon. Ryan Jones and Gary Hansen were the adult supervisors. Ryan told me that the final rappel was "life changing" for him.
Fam trip on way to Joshua Tree. Pulled the last rap with a biner block and resulted in a core shot directly at mid point. Super fun easy canyon
Great evening canyon. Stay to the right after the last rap or you will loose elevation before having to climb back up.
First night canyon
Nice quick canyon
Annual Krummenacher Moab River raft event. Some of who came along: Trent, Eva, Alysen, Jordan, Adam Smith, Kyle Thomas, Launa Thomas, Brett, Cosmo, Bryce, Malia Hall. Brett and Malia wore sandals on this hike. I didn't wear socks and got blisters on my heels.
Pete, Dave, Michelle, Julie, Marty, J & F. Fun and easy! Set last rap, then waited for full moon at the fudge-cicle but it was taking too long so we bailed and looked at the moon from the parking lot, instead. Workers on 191 hit a gas line, so town power was out and traffic bottle-necked. Cleared out by the time we left the park, though.
Round trip in an hour solo
With renae

Lizzy and myself. Lizzy navigated with gaia with my confirmation and we took turns but i took lead to set up rappels.
Fun, short, casual. Last rap makes it down with 200 foot rope. Make sure one pulls to the right to not have both strands in a groove.
Met some nice people in the parking lot who hadn't run this canyon before so we waited at the top for them and helped!
With mick and the guys from teh dropzone
Fun canyon in Arches, but could be lots of folks depending on time of year.
KV. rap the boulder after the short downclimb.
Classic first canyon, cleanly bolted, great way to learn the basics.
Easy, decent canyon
Should have done this one before little bull. Pretty steep approach but nice and open repels, with one fully hanging. Very beginner friendly! Did a simul repel with Minna lol.
Second trip to moab
Went with Ross, AJ, and Alan. Kinda hot.
Easy and short trip with beautiful views and a very exciting final rappel. I did a few of the short raps with a hand line and a Prusik hitch backup.
Autumn, Susan, Don and Kari. No incidents.
Susan Goodman, Tim Williams, Collins Gerstner, Ryan Grube
Not sure the date, but did with Yannick with Matt & Bill
With the 15th ward YM and another time with the YW
